

Obituary of Barbara A. Kdidnasky
Barbara A. “Barb” Kdidnasky, 63, of Lansingburgh, beloved wife for 43 years to Nicholas J. “Nick” Kdidnasky peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by and in the loving care of her family at home on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice Bariteau Gardner and attended St. Patrick’s School in Troy.
Barb had been employed at Verdile’s Restaurant and retired this past year. Previously working at Hillside Dry Cleaners, both in Lansingburgh, and RPI in Troy.
She loved Christmas and especially the decorating that came with it. Barb enjoyed music, specifically playing the tambourine, and going to every Rod Stewart concert. She enjoyed baking cakes for all celebrations. She loved working on her floral garden. Spending spa days with her granddaughters getting their nails done. She was active in the neighborhood, always lending a helping hand. She would play her favorite lotto numbers regularly, and would spread the wealth. She loved HGTV and would get many ideas to remodel her own home. Her coffee dates with her friends and family was her favorite pastime. She was the queen of foosball and had won many tournaments. She was somebody to everybody and a true inspiration to us all.
Beloved wife for 43 years to Nick, devoted mother of Cristy (Michael) Harte, Jamie (Francisco Rivera) Kdidnasky and Michelle (John Callagan) Kdidnasky, Cherished “Nana” of Ruby and Rayden Harte, Jaylee and Nicholas Ellis and was eagerly anticipating the birth of her third granddaughter, sister of Robert (Mary) Gardner, Linda Gardner, Joan Gardner, Susan (the, late Dave) Kennedy, Carol (Scott) Nash, Bea (Bill) Masterson, Mary Ann (Timmy) Castle, Patty (Carrell) Grass, the late Arthur “Butch” Gardner, the late, William Gardner, the late Gary (Gail) Gardner, the late, John Gardner and the late Michael Gardner, also survived by her niece Sarah Redcross along with many other nieces, nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the Rite of Christian Burial Funeral Service being offered at 7:00 p.m. that evening both at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182
In lieu of flowers, the family desires that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, in memory of Barbara A. Kdidnasky. The family would like to send a special thanks to Justin and Betsy from Hospice.
