DARCIE A. (RAGONE) SALMON

 

Darcie A. Ragone Salmon, 60, of Cambridge, New York and formerly of Troy, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

 

Born in Cambridge, New York, she was the daughter of the late Andrew J. “Joe” and Emily Ann Carroll Ragone and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School.

 

Darcie was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She loved football, particularly the Buffalo Bills of which she was a devoted member of the Bill’s Mafia Facebook page who have sent an enormous outpouring of support since her passing. She also loved to travel, cooking, animals and most of all, her children and grandchildren. She had also been a dedicated follower of The Eagles band.

 

She is survived by her children Nicholas (Kirsten) Krege, Vincent (Kimberleigh) Ragone, Felicia (Jeffrey) Kosinski, Dominic (Kiana) Krege and Gianna Salmon, her spouse Scott Salmon, one brother David (Ivette) Ragone, 13 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as all of the Bill’s Mafia and The Eagles Band and their followers.

 

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue, Troy, NY 12182.

 

A public Celebration of Life for Darcie will be planned and will be announced here on this website page.

 

Darcie’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Emily and Joe Ragone for adopting Darcie.
