Obituary of Nilesh R. Pappu

Nilesh R. Pappu, 37, of Guilderland, peacefully entered into eternal life in the loving care of his family at home on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Born in Maharashtra, India, Nilesh is the son of Rajkumar Pappu and Sanyavati Ganti Mahapatruni Pappu. In addition to his parents Rajkumar and Sanyvati, Nilesh is the adored brother of Aarti Pappu-Gallo, Brother in law to Frederick E. Gallo, JR, loving grandson of Late P.V.S. Rao and Rajlakshmi Pappu and Late Shankar Shastri and Ammaji Ganti Mahapatruni. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends both stateside as well as in India.

Nilesh was much loved by his family and friends as well as those who he met and provided care for him at the Smith Center (Center for Disability Services) in Guilderland where he really enjoyed the time when he was there.

His hobbies included music, movies, loved long rides in the car and enjoyed time with family and his favorite foods. He was a very sweet, kind, loving and lovable person.

Hindu funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, April 10, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel and Crematorium, 186 Oakwood Avenue, Troy, NY 12182 where cremation will follow.
