Obituary of Chad A. Seguin

Chad Alton Seguin, born on June 15, 1983, in Troy, New York, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2025, in Schuylerville, New York. He was 41 years old.

Chad was a devoted father, a loving son, brother, and a passionate craftsman. He is remembered with deep love by his children, Kaileigh Seguin, Emily Seguin, Jackson Seguin and Jace Seguin. He is also survived by his grandson, Caiden Shambo; mother, Stephanie Seguin, brothers, Craig Seguin and Peter Brooks, and life partner, Jennifer Woodward.

He was predeceased by his father, Glenn Seguin, and his wife, Katy Seguin.

Chad poured his heart into his work at Seguin Wood Flooring-a business he built through dedication and skill. His craftsmanship was admired by many, and he took immense pride in every project he completed. His work was not just a job but a reflection of the care and precision he brought to everything he did.

Outside of work, Chad found joy in the thrill of skateboarding and snowboarding-activities that brought him both peace and exhilaration. Wintertime on the slopes or time spent skating were among his favorite ways to connect with life's energy. He also cherished attending festivals with his beloved friends-moments filled with music, laughter, and shared memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.

Chad's legacy lives on through the love of his family and the countless lives he touched through friendship and craftsmanship. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065

Burial will be held in Dunning Street Cemtery, Malta.
