Danny was my boss, mentor and friend for more than 32 years of professional life that was more than just a job. Danny was always on a mission to advance the interest of CSEA members and other working people with fairness and build a better New York and America.
We first met standing on line to check in at the old Concord Hotel in the Catskills in 1985 and became fast friends. It wasn’t unique because he was always making friends and it was a hallmark of his leadership style.
I have thousands of stories from years of travel, battles won and lost and experiences with all kinds of people in every part of New York. Grateful for Danny’s guidance, confidence and inspiration, along with the opportunity to help.
Daniel thank you so very much for running our CSEA Union. I met you several times either at the NY State Fair during our Labor Day parade. And even at SUNY Cortland where I worked on the ground’s department for 34yrs retiring 5/31/21 . May god be with you. Yours sincerely Daniel Narsasian
