Obituary of Vanessa L. (Hill) LeDuc

VANESSA L. (HILL) LEDUC

Vanessa L. Hill LeDuc, 78, of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal life at home on Monday, September 8, 2025.

Born in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Wilhelmina Williams Hill and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College.

Vanessa had been a Resident Counselor with the ARC in Lansingburgh as well as a Foster Grandparent with CEO. She was also a grateful member of the twelve step programs.

Devoted mother of Adrienne LeDuc Waugh and Jeremy LeDuc, stepmother to Lorenzo Davis, loving sister of Michelle Hill, Allyn Hill and Michael Hill, cherished grandmother of Marquis LeDuc, Briana LeDuc and Kiasha Davis adored great grandmother of I’Cyss LeDuc and Myla Davis, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 10 a.m. at John J. Sanvidge, 565 Fourth Ave., Troy, NY 12182.

Her family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all who have offered their support and condolences during our difficult time.

Any memorial contributions will be donated to The Friends of Bill, in memory of Vanessa L. LeDuc.
