Obituary of Denise A. Selig

Denise A. Gardner Selig, 66, of Watervliet (Town of Colonie) and formerly of Lansingburgh, entered into eternal life at the Eddy Heritage House in Troy on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Born and educated in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Williams Gardner.

Denise was a homemaker and dedicated to her children as a mother.

Beloved mother of Katherine “Kay” (Ron) Devoe, Theresa Blair and Joseph Blair (Wendy Gaudio) devoted sister of Richard Gardner, Jr. and Darryl Gardner, cherished grandmother of Jaelin Dudar, Devin Devoe, Masin Devoe, Brayden Blair, Bryce Blair and adored great grandmother of Jaeleigh Jones and Zamiah Chaney.

Relatives and friends are invited to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 for Visitation on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. where at 3:00 p.m. there will be a Catholic Prayer Service and a time for those attending to share reflections.
