
Obituary of Lois A. Williams
Lois Ann Williams, 95, formerly of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, 39 years to the day of the passing of her beloved husband George C. Williams.
Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late Marcel and Elizabeth “Bessie” Flynn LeQue and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, Class of 1949
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and had been employed previously by New York Telephone Co., in Albany. She also assisted in the operation of her families floral business, Lori’s Creations in Lansingburgh.
She was a communicant of St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh, as well as a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, C.C.H.S. Phone-A-Thon Group, St. Augustine’s Mothers Club, and the Colonie Senior Citizens Beltrone Association.
Lois looked forward to and loved her vacations at Goose Rocks Beach in Maine and her favorite place of all, Key West, Florida.
Devoted mother of Susan (Larry) Martin, Cathy (Raymond) Saladis, Joanne (Kevin) Davey, Lori (Matthew) Tracey, and the late Mary (late, Sal) Williams Montanino, cherished grandmother of Kelly (Sean) Darke, Melissa (James) Crocetta, Nicholas (Krissie) Davey, Brooke (Brian) Yanke, Emily (Jon) Mitzel, Michael (Caitlin) Williams, Mac (Michelle) Tracey, Brian (Amanda) Davey, Jason (Amanda) Tracey, Jenna (Scott) Henderson, and Joseph Tracey, adored great grandmother of seventeen great grandchildren and one more on the way, sister of Helene Iler and the late Marjorie LaValley, also survived by several nieces, nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge, 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182 and to her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh.
Interment will be held in St. John’s Cemetery, Troy.
Lois’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Loudonville Assisted Living Residence and Community Hospice of Albany for all their kindness and devotion.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany or the Lansingburgh Boys & Girls Club in memory of Lois A. Williams.
