
Obituary of Carol A. Keefe
Carol Ann Mailloux Keefe, 85, of Cambridge and formerly of Stillwater, beloved wife for 46 years to the late John T. "Rudy" Jr., passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Born in Cohoes, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Delores Perry Mailloux and was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School.
Mrs. Keefe retired after 25 years of service from the New York State Department of Equalization and Assessment in Albany and had also been employed by the Troy Record newspaper and General Electric Silicones in Waterford.
She loved her pets. She loved spending her time watching westerns and wildlife. But most of all she loved time she spent with her family. Days at the track with Rudy were always a favorite. Her family hold dear the many memories of holiday gatherings and feasts fit for a “king”. She is missed beyond measure.
Devoted mother of Carol E. (John) Napoli, Lionel (Irene) Keefe, David (Keri) Keefe, stepmother to Duane Keefe and the late, John T. Keefe, III, Diane Stalker, Dell Keefe and Ford Keefe, sister of Delores (late, Al) Millington and the late Margaret “Mert” (late, Marge) Gurbey, also survived by 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 with a Funeral Service to begin that evening at 7:00 p.m.
Inurnment will be held in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Those attending are asked to assemble within the entrance to the cemetery along the right lane curbing that t morning no sooner than 9:35 a.m. and no later than 9:55 a.m.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to The Cambridge Assisted living for the decade of care they provided.
