Obituary of Joan M. Stiles-DeGennaro

     Joan M. Stiles-DeGennaro, 85, of Clifton Park, died on Thursday August 9, 2018 at Saratoga Hospital after a brief illness.  She was born on Nov. 5, 1932 in West Crescent, NY and was the daughter of the late Alfred C. and Hazel Francisco Stiles.  Joan was a graduate of St. Agnes High School and the Mildred Elly Business School in Albany.  She had been a Insurance and Real Estate Broker, owning Camelot Realty in Albany during the 1960’s through the early 70’s.  She was a faithful member of the Methodist Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed camping.  Joan was a lifelong Halfmoon resident and did enjoy many years in South Florida.

     She is the wife of the late Michael J. DeGennaro and Charles W. See; devoted mother of Pamela Barnes and Cynthia and James Welch; sister of the late Mildred Stiles-Clement and Marjorie Stiles-Perkins; grandmother of Michael, Donald, Cheryl, Kayleigh and Cody; great grandmother of Makayla, Shannon, Aiden, Connor, Kelsey, Gracie and baby St. Germain; also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

     Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 4-6 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

     Private interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY on Monday.
