Obituary of Amanda M. Ash

Amanda Marie Ash, 28, died at Samaritan Hospital on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.

Born in Troy, Amanda is the beloved daughter of Willis S. and Marlene B. Leno Ash and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School.

She is the devoted mother of Abigail (9), Brantley (6) and Hunter (3), fiancé of Kip Rogalio, sister of Silvia, Jonathan and Heath Ash, cherished granddaughter of John Leno and the late Marlene Jourdanais and Willis S. and the late Theresa Ash, niece of John and Michael (Cindi) Leno, Shannon Leno, Pamela (Chris) Peterson, Dennis Ash and Lisa (Bill) Deerfield, also survived by many cousins and friends.

Amanda had been employed at Bacchus Wood Fired restaurant in Troy.

Affectionately known as “Pumpkin” or “Manda” to her family and friends, she was a huge lover of the outdoors. She loved swimming, fishing, camping and was just an all around outdoorsy girl. She also loved her “hippie” and country music. She loved attending concerts and most of all loved the times which she spent with her children, family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Amanda’s wake at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182 on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to

12 Noon and to partake in the prayer and sharing of memories which will immediately follow beginning at Noon. Burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
