JEROME YORK

Jerome York passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023.  He was the son of Mary Bennett York and Johnny York

Jerome was a graduate of Troy High School.  He worked as a Pallet Builder in Menands, New York and as a laborer at Cargo Recycling before becoming disabled.  Jerome’s hobbies included putting together model cars as well as fishing.

In addition to him mother, Jerome is survived by three brothers: Nathaniel York and John York of Troy and Eddie (Pauline) York of Greeleyville, SC; two aunts: Thelma York of Greeleyville, SC and Earline York of Myrtle Beach, SC; three nieces, three nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 for Visitation from 11:00 a.m. to Noon and to the Home Going Service which will begin at 121 Noon.

Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
