My mom and I were so fortunate to travel to Europe a few times with Kevin. We cross country skied during his February vacation and had such memorable times! Kevin was a genuine friend and was such a great travel buddy! One time we went to a trivia night at a pub in Austria. What a lively event that was! Another time we took a toboggan down a winter hillside. Kevin's sled went to the right and we went to the left. In the end we all met up and had a good laugh! Thank you, Kevin for all of the memories! You will be missed. Love, Eileen and Cathy

Kevin and I worked together at the Honest Weight Food Coop for many years: me as the cashier, he as the packer. We talked at lot, he would tell me about all his trips (and I was jealous). Always talked about his family, neices and nephews, going to their events. He interacted a lot with the customers, especially the children. He called them "prince" or "princess", talked to the parents. Just a really nice guy. I didn't know him that well but have missed his presence at the Coop. So sorry for your loss

i went to catholic high with kevin. he was a wonderful guy we shared laughs in high school. i had the good fortune for kevin to be a teacher of history and social studies to my three children who attended gardner dickenson school. the 3 of them have spoken about the positive influence he had on them. as im sure he touched the lives of all of his students. i am saddened by his untimely passing but i think hes left quite a legacy.. I am glad to have known Kevin. Sincere condolences to his family

Kevin was always a teacher even when he wasn't in school. He would ask my daughter how she was doing in social studies and then discuss it with her so she could better understand it. He was always ready to lend a hand if someone needed it .I still remember his stories when he went back packing thru Europe. Rest in peace Kevin you deserve it. Watch over all of us.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin many years ago. We became instant friends. He could make you smile, even when you thought you could not. He had such a love for life and all it had to offer. I am so lucky to have all the memories I do. Then, as we got older, I was, as were my children-lucky he stepped back into our lives when he taught all 3 of my kids at Gardner Dickinson. I remember stopping in his classroom-so many times just to say hello and grab a hug and a smile. My sincerest sympathies to his family. Just know Kevin was a beacon of light every day. RIP, my friend-Fly with the Angels. I will never forget the fun we had.
