Obituary of Joan Marie DeRusso
Joan Marie DeRusso, 88, formerly of Fifth Avenue, beloved wife of the late Anthony DeRusso, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021.
Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Exilda Clickner Hohn and was a graduate of Columbia High School in East Greenbush.
Mrs. DeRusso had been employed at Commodore Cleaners in Lansingburgh.
Beloved mother of Mark (Beth) DeRusso and Matthew DeRusso, cherished grandmother of Brandie Lau, Krista DeRusso and Katie Keenan, adored great grandmother of Ava Lau, Grayson Lau, Allegra Wilmont and Britton Herring. She was predeceased by her brother Willard Hohn.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182 on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and to the funeral service which will be held in the funeral home that morning beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
Those attending the Calling Hours, Funeral Mass or Interment in-person are required to wear a facial covering (mask), observe social distancing and understand that there are capacity limitations in the funeral home. The same must be observed outdoors.
