This is sad news. I had the chance to work with her years ago at NYSOSC and I always remember her as caring and helpful. She was the embodiment of a public employee, always putting the customer first. She will be missed.

Nancy was such a kind, thoughtful woman. She was one of the first people I met when I started with OSC over 21 years ago, and she was always willing to help out when needed. She had such a friendly demeanor. Nancy's passing is truly a loss felt by many.

To Bob and family...
I am so very sorry for the loss of Nancy. She was a great friend to all at OSC. Caring, kind and just all around amazing. Those are the words I would use to describe Nancy. I had known Nancy for many years and then I accepted a position on the 5th floor a few years back. I was so nervous walking in on day 1. But as I sat down at my desk for that 1st time, I heard a familiar voice saying "Hello neighbor, welcome to the 5th floor" and all my worries went straight out the door. I just knew everything would be ok with Nancy right at my side. Nancy and I shared a mutual love for Peanuts characters and now, I will treasure my trinkets at my desk even more and remember her everytime I look at them.
I'm so glad I got to know Nancy better and work with her the past few years. She made the world brighter and she will be missed by all.
Sendimg prayers and love to all. ❤

I was so saddened to hear about Nancy's passing. Thinking of Nancy with so many happy memories. My family was blessed to call the Barron's "family." Nancy was such a big part of those blessings with her heart of gold and the warmest smile. She was so talented with all of her beautiful crafts which she loved to share. I still have the favors she made for Mary Ann's bridal shower about 35 years ago! And a beautiful love knot that Nancy made still hangs on my wall. Nancy sent the prettiest Christmas cards every year. They always had some extra "bling" or "sparkle" that made them special, just the way she was. I am so glad I got to see Nancy about a year and a half ago. Although our visit was short, it was so warm and memorable. Nancy was so proud of her wonderful sons, James and David. She always sent their school pictures over the years. They both have her great smile. I know Nancy is at peace now and is with her beautiful mom and dad and Stephen. God has another angel now. Nancy will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Sending my love to all the Barron's and Troutman's.
