Obituary of John Edward Scott, Jr.

Mr. John Edward Scott Jr. was born July 17, 1970. He was born to Wanda Boykins and John Edward Scott Sr. He attended Samuel Gompers High School in the Bronx. Our beloved king transitioned and departed this life on March 2, 2021. He fought a hard battle and   desperately wanted to live.

Although he moved to Albany New York, he was a true to life New Yorker. New York City was his home.

Our beloved king enjoyed life, cooking, laughing, music, nice cars and clothes. Above all he loved his children, family, and friends unconditionally.

He is survived and cherished by his five children

As well as his dear Bronx River family a host of aunties, uncles and cousins.

A tremendous void has forever been indebted in our hearts and soul by the absence of our honorable king. He was loving, caring, honest and loyal. Some would say he was just a cool dude.

We are devastated and heart broken, by the loss of our king. Let us celebrate his life while he lie near and dear to each and everyone of  our hearts. You will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and to his Service of Remembrance at 4:00 p.m. that afternoon all in the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourt hAvenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansimngburgh) Troy, New York 12182.

Interement will be held on Wednesday, March 24th in Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, New Jersey.
