Obituary of Carole Lynne Drake

Carole Lynne Drake, 78, of Sparrowhawk Circle and formerly of  Cemetery  Road in Halfmoon died on Friday April 30, 2021 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a brief illness.  She was born in Catskill, NY on March 28, 1943 and was the daughter of the late  Anna Williams and Demetrios Trigonis.  She was the beloved wife of the late Richard W. Drake, Sr. who died on June 23, 2016.  Carole worked for the Shenendehowa School System for over 30 year in food service, retiring as the high school cafeteria manager.  She loved the game of Bocce and bowling.    She loved the water, especially boating.  For many years she boated  with her late husband and family from the Grandview Marina at Sacandaga Lake.  She volunteered at St. Mary's School in Waterford in the lunch program.  She enjoyed the senior citizens at Halfmoon and Clifton Park.  She was a election poll watcher for the Town of Halfmoon.  Carole  was very dedicated to her grandchildren. She  always held a special place in her heart for friends and family.  Carole will be missed by all who knew her.

She is the devoted mother of Richard W. Drake, Jr. (Joanne) of Clifton Park and James K. Drake (Heather) of Coatesville, PA ; cherished grandmother of Richard III, Lauren, Emily, Samantha and Arabella; sister of Alex Trigonis (Donna) of Clifton Park; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Calling hours will be from 11:00 am -1:00 pm Prior to the service in the funeral home .

Interment will be in the Clifton Park Village Cemetery, Halfmoon, NY.
