Obituary of Laurel L. Dudley

Laurel Dudley, 53, of Johnsonville, died Tuesday 5/11/2021 after a decades -long illness.

Laurel was educated and worked in Troy.

Laurel was preceded in death by both her parents, to include the amazing Cheryl Sullivan of Waterford. Also preceded by her brother and sister Bobbie-Jo and Chucky Gibbons.

She is survived by her Step-Father Terrance TJ Sullivan; Children Sara (Jon) Lee of Gainesville, GA, and Ashley Dudley of Troy; and her Step Children Casandra Dudley and Michael Dudley both from Troy. She is also survived by her Siblings Bobby, Misty, and John Gibbons from Dubois, PA.

Laurel loved to tend to her plants. She was very good at it.

Her passion, however, was grandbabies. She is the maternal grandmother to Justice "Bug" Harris (the apple of her eye), Adam Thomas (Sweetie Boy), and Matthew and Gavin Lee of GA. She was Nana to Dejah (Bunchmunch) DeForest and Taytum (Toots) Dudley of Cohoes. She spent all of her time with her Boyfriend Mark, and His grandchildren that she loved as her own: Jasmine, Anthony, McKenna Daley; James and Avia Beaudoin; Havanna and Liam Ray. She had many friends and acquaintances.

Services will be Friday, May 14, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue, Troy, New York 12182. Facial coverings, social distancing and capacity limits must be adhered to.
