Obituary of Ruth A. Horn

Ruth A. Horn, 83, of the Vosburgh Community Housing Homes died of Lung Cancer on Friday May 28, 2021 at her son's home in Middlegrove, NY in the loving care of her family.  Ruth was born May 3, 1938 in Albany, NY and was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Ruth L. Sternfield Horn.  She retired after working for the Holiday Inn in Menands, Boscov's and Beacon Point both in Clifton Park.  Ruth was an active communicant of St. Mary's Church in Crescent.  She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph W. Berben.  She is the devoted mother Daniel (Stacia) Berben, Robert (Jennifer) Berben and the late Joseph E. Berben, Jr (Janice); cherished grandmother of Jason Berben, Evan Berben, Andrew (Laurie) Berben, Brent Berben, Ashley ( Clarence) Chamberlain, Martha Berben, Jacob Berben; great grandmother of Andrew Joseph Berben, Jr.; loving sister of Judy Berben, Frank (Kathy) Horn, Marie Ruhl (the late Paul); also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Crescent where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

There will be no calling hours.

Interment will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
