Obituary of Richard Allen Darby

Richard Allen Darby, 64, of 8^th. Street died on Thursday July 29, 2021 at Yonkers Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Yonkers, NY after a long illness.  He was born on April 24, 1957 in San Francisco, CA and was the beloved son of Patricia Ann Ashdown Rogers of Lansingburgh and the late Richard Allen Darby, Jr.  He was educated in the Troy School System and had been a tow truck driver for Kennedy’s Garage in S. Troy. 

In addition to his mom, Richard is survived by his siblings, Charles Meegan, Kathy Recore, Mary Meegan and Rose Darby.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Friday August 6, 2021 from  1-3 pm at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of 115^th.  Street & 4^th. Avenue in Lansingburgh.
