Alice Kenna, 104, of Rome, NY, formerly of Middle Way in Grafton, New York, beloved wife of the late Charles H. “Kip” Kenna, peacefully entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Sunset Nursing Home in Boonville, New York.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Ellen Matthews Cameron.
Mrs. Kenna had been employed as a Sales Associate at Denby’s in Troy.
Alice loved to read books, dining out and to sing.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Judy Tavaglione, all of her siblings, and grandchildren Rocky and Jim.
She was the stepmother of Fran Norman and Terry Moritz, and is survived by her grandchildren Sandi, Linda and Debra, three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In keeping with Alice’s wishes, a private funeral service will be held with interment to follow in Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Rome, 6247 Lamphear Rd, Rome, NY 13440, in memory of Alice Kenna.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Morris-Stebbins-Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick St., Troy, New York 12180.
