Obituary of Mary "Joyce" West

Mary “Joyce” (Mazur) West, of New Port Richey FL, originally of Troy, NY. died April 18, 2022 surrounded by family.

Mary was born February 7, 1935 to the late Louis J. and Elizabeth (Cann) Mazur in Troy. Educated in Troy school System.  Joyce worked for Hart & Son Laundry, St. Patrick’s Rectory in Watervliet with Father Joe, Van Rensselaer Manor as a nutritionist and The Record Newspaper.

Mary’s love was her family, nature, birds and flowers.

Survived by her children; Joseph E. (Nancy), Colleen (Lisa); cherished grandchildren who she loved dearly,  Brayton (Samantha), Mallory, daughter-in-law Cheryl, several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, the love of her life, Joseph B., brothers Edward Mazur, Michael Mazur and sister Elizabeth “Nora” Palmer

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 and to her Funeral Service on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m.
