Ray and family: Maureen was a gift to Ray and the family members as well as the extended friends and associates at St. Edward the Confessor parish. Her frequent and gracious smile which was infectious will always be remembered by those who had the opportunity to have her share in our lives. Although the last several years were sorrowful, we believe that her love was continuous and that she appreciated the comfort that was given freely by Ray and family. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend her services; but, will keep her in our prayers and add her name to the "prayer list" maintained at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Oriental, NC. May God provide comfort and solace to Ray and the extended Norris family knowing that she is with HIM and will be forever in our minds and hearts.

My sincerest condolences to Ray and the family. Maureen was a great role model for me through St Edward's Parish Nurse program where we met trough her invitation to join the monthly blood pressure clinic. Her generous and kind spirit was an important part of what made it so nice to be with her. One wonderful memory is when we worked together at one of the St Edward's blood drives. She enjoyed it so much and was very dedicated to this yearly event. During this event we got to talk more and I enjoyed hearing about her nursing career and her family. She always had pictures to share of her family and she was so proud of them. It's best to say Maureen just sparkled in all she did, never a complaint, just a ready smile, a fun heart, dedication and love. A blessed servant. God bless all of you in your sorrow right now, may your memories get you through this sad time. Rest in peace dear, Maureen.
