Obituary of Edna M. McCauley
Edna M. McCauley, 88, beloved wife of the late Kenneth L. “Pee Wee” McCauley, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Samaritan Hospital.
Born and educated in Charleston, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Nancy Frazier Singleton.
Edna was a Call Center Representative at Computer Sciences Corporation in Menands, New York.
She was a member of the Sunbathers and later the Golden Divas. She volunteered at the Oakwood Food Pantry.
Edna was the devoted mother of Kenneth McCauley, Jr., Kermit (Priscilla) McCauley and Robert McCauley; sister of Pearl Hoskins and the late Richard, Irving, James, Hattie, Margie and Althea Singleton, Richadean Potter, and Thomasina and Coloda Winthrop, also survived by eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Home Going Service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 313 10th St., Troy, NY 12180 where the Bishop Dr. Norman R. Macklin will officiate.
