Obituary of Linda Ann Maney

Linda Ann Maney, 67, of Locust Grove Road in Saratoga passed away peacefully on Monday May 8, 2023 at Glens Falls Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  She was born on Jan. 22, 1956 in Troy and was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Joan M. Brierley Maney,   Linda was a graduate of the Junior College of Albany receiving her AAS in Fine Arts.  She will always be remembered for her photography talents.  She was the owner of The Portrait Gallery since 1983 with her studio in Saratoga.  Most important to Linda was her family and friends. 

She is the beloved sister of Kathleen M. (Thomas) Connors of Medfield, MA, Diane M. Maney Kelleher of Troy, Michael Thomas (Cheyenne) Maney of Saratoga Springs and the late Eileen R. Maney;   dear aunt of CW Kelleher, Nicholas (Alyssa) Planeta and Kasey (Shawn) Ellis; great aunt of Mila, Emme and Jack Planeta; she is also survived by her many cousins and dear friends.

Calling hours will be from 5-7 pm Friday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Funeral service will be on Saturday at 9:30 am in the funeral home.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford where she will be laid to rest with her parents and sister.
