Obituary of Darryl E. Bussing, Sr.

Darryl E. Bussing, Sr., 64, of Pleasantdale (Town of Schaghticoke) beloved husband for 46 years to Barbara Ann Pratt Bussing, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Samarian Hospital in Troy.

Born in Troy, New York, Darryl was the son of the late Ralph Bussing and Lillian Hall Stockwell and was educated at Lansingburgh High School.

Mr. Bussing had been a Bus Monitor with Folmsbee Transportation, Inc. in Waterford.

He loved antiques, flea markets, thrift shops and garage sales.

Beloved husband of Barbara, devoted father of Darryl E. Bussing, Jr., Timothy (Jennifer) Bussing, Nancy (Erik) Decamp, Kelly Bussing, Maygen Bussing, Anthony Bussing and the late Bruce Bussing and the late George Bussing, dear brother of John (Late Terri Sanders) Bussing, Tonjua (Bob) Welch, Shelley (Late, Francis) Becker, Tina (John) Ramsey, Ricky (Ginny) Bussing, Frank Stockwell, Jr., Chrissy (Tom) Stockwell and the late Ralph Bussing, Jr., also survived by 22 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182, where at 12:30 p.m. a prayer service will be offered and those wishing to share a memory will be invited to do so.
