Obituary of Milford J. Williams

Milford J. “Mil” Williams, Jr., 60, of Lansingburgh, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Milford J. “Mil” and Jane Frazier Williams, Sr. and was educated in the Troy schools.

Mil had been employed at J.B. Garrett, Inc. Medical Supplies and Equipment in Troy, Tire Distributor in Waterford and had a Mr. Ding-A-Ling route.

Mil loved to go fishing.

39 year loving companion of Jean M. Sousie of Lansingburgh, father of Joseph Milford (Tiffany) Williams of Rensselaer, Christopher Williams and Shawn Williams both of Troy,  brother of William (Shelly Becker) Williams, David (Lillian) Williams, both of Troy, Jane Marie (Stephen) Davis of Batavia, NY, Eleanor Ward of Watervliet, and the late, Richard Williams, cherished grandfather of Jordan, Bryan and twins; Carys and Carson, Aiden, Preston and Troy, Mackenzie and Makayla, brother-in-law of Robert (Aimee) Sousie of Waterford, Rose (Don) O’Rourke of Pleasantdale, Donald (Myra) Hull of South Carolina, Charlie Sousie of Cohoes, Jennifer Brunson of Troy, Randall (Amanda) Sousie of Pleasantdale, Andy (Jamie) Sousie of California and the late Gloria Williams, son-in-law of Marjorie Fitzpatrick Sousie, the late Robert Sousie and the late  Kathy Jeske, also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and to the Funeral Service that afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.
