I worked at the Attorney General's Office for many years with Marcia. I also knew her husband Lawson. May they rest in peace.

Marcia and I were in the same group that palled around when at Albany High School. We were both cheerleaders, double dated at proms and hung out at Eddies after school. She often had use of the family car which was very rare in those days. After graduation in 1960, we went separate ways until the reunions started when we worked together on all those committees. After Marcia moved "up north", we again lost track. I often thought of getting in touch and am very sorry to know that I waited too long. Karen Clas Beck

I lived across the street from Marcia and Lawson in the 90s. They were both wonderful people and great neighbors. My condolences to the family.

Marcia was my best friend, confidant and advisor all rolled into one. I admired her so much. Marcia was full of integrity and honesty. I can still hear her voice saying, “acceptance Jane, acceptance “. That kind of summed it up for me.
We had tons of laughs together and shared our feelings with one another honestly. She was always ready to “go”. Marcia was a very strong person physically, and spiritually. I love Marcia and will truly miss my friend.
