John E. Tyler posted a condolence

I served with Bernie in the Tokyo-Kanagawa Military Government Team where we were buddies. We roamed Tokyo together being amazed at the sights. I was the Team administrative clerk, taking care of the records under 1st Sgt Donald N. Sweeney and Captain William J. Streetman. Bernie was a mechanic in the motor pool behind our billet, the Japanese Imperial Naval Museum. After about 7 months we moved downtown to the 8th floor of the San Shin Building. I visited him once in Watervielt and he visited me once in Branford, CT. I am so sorry we lost track of each other. My deepest condolences to his family.
