Margaret was a remarkable woman who kept her wit and iron will until the very end. Into her nineties she lived in her own house where she enjoyed cooking, painting, and taking care of her cats. It was always a privilege to hear her many stories about growing up during the Great Depression, and how the name Margaret was given to her by a grade school teacher. She always had a good word of advice for living a long happy life. She always said you must do what makes you happy and live without regret. This is something she lived by every day, she could not be told what to do. Margaret will be remembered as an artist, not only for her art work, but for painting a smile on the faces of all those close to her.

My sincere condolences for the loss of Margaret. Be assured that the almighty God truly cares for the family!
May you find comfort in the promise that "... there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous" (Acts 24:15), and very soon "... no resident will say, 'I am sick'" (Isa. 33:24) because "... death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:4)

My deepest sympathies to Margaret's family. I met Margaret in a community social dancing class years ago, and after we met annually for ice cream at a Friendly's for several years, she brought her art once to show. We exchanged Christmas cards annually. Last I saw Margaret was in 2002. She was proud of her Italian heritage and family. She was a very nice person, had a full life, and I will miss her.
Very Sincerely
