Martin E. Fane, formerly of Speigletown and Troy, NY, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 24, 2018, in Hudson, FL.  Born in Troy, Marty was the son of the late Martin and Mary (Happ) Fane.  He is survived by his adoring wife, Marilyn (Barber) Fane; and their children: Martin R. Fane (Barbara), Deborah Tybush (Frank), Cheryl Myers (William), Lisa Schultz (Jody), Russell Fane (Sherry), and Tonya Fane; and is predeceased by their daughter Melissa M. Fane. Survivors also include his siblings: Carolyn (Fane) Coleman and Warren W. Fane; fifteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Born and raised on a farm, Marty was educated in the Lansingburgh schools. His life-long passion for miniature horses and farm life continued after his retirement from Grand Union trucking and Warren W. Fane, Inc.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. by Rev. "Jake" Gaylord Campbell and will be followed by fellowship and a reception in Martin's honor until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aprill 22, 2018 at Parti Events and Banquet Hall (formerly Germania Hall in Lansingburgh) 309 Third Avenue  (at the corner of 107th Street), Troy, NY 12182.

Memorial contributions may be made in Marty’s name to the Mohawk-Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY, 12204.
