Sadly, I never had the chance to meet Carol but I have heard so many wonderful things about her. Her amazing spirit and warm personality is visible through the beautiful daughter she raised. May Our Lord welcome her to His eternal kingdom.

My mother was one of the most amazing and beautiful people I have ever known. She never ever had anything easy throughout her life but never let anything ruin her kind, nurturing, compassionate spirit. She taught us how to have courage and strength and to have faith in god. She taught us how to love one another even if the other person has mistreated you. She taught us how to respect and appreciate even the smallest things in life.
She had made many donations of her time and own money even though she didn't have a lot herself. She was so thankful to god for what she did have and felt so good to give some back to help others. She was a beautiful singer, artist and poet and appreciated beauty in even the smallest things in nature, such as the way a rock would glisten in the sunlight or the way the moon would cast its glow upon the river. She fought so hard with both of her illnesses and was willing to even deal with the pain so that she could be home with her family.
I'm so sad knowing she never got to go anywhere truly exciting because of the ulcerative colitis limiting her and later on because of the aggressive cancer. Now she no longer needs to suffer and her soul is souring so peacefully up in heaven and all around us.

Shelley and family,
So sorry.
Remember Me
It is true I am not here in the physical sense anymore, but you have traces of me left in many familiar places:
You’ll hear expressions that remind you of our conversations; You’ll see beautiful things that remind you of our adventures together; Something will make you cry, and you’ll remember a time when we shared tears and comforted each other and felt better. You’ll laugh at something, and it will remind you of a time when we laughed together at a movie, or a card, or just a funny situation.
So, my friend, there will be times when it hurts to remember.
It’s o.k. to cry, and you may not feel strong sometimes, but I know you have an inner strength. Rely on it and try to move ahead.
Know that you hold a special place in my heart, and that your presence added to my life.
Use these memories to help you when things get you down and you need an extra smile.
When you do or see the things we enjoyed together, know that I am still there in your heart and in your memory.
Remember the happiness we shared.
Until that day when we meet again, live your life to the fullest as I did, and share yourself with others.
So, my treasured friend, until we meet again … remember me.

Dear Karie & family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Mom. I will never forget the first time I met her & she massaged me, I was in a lot of pain & had spasms. She was so concerned about me, she called the next day to check on me, I realized then what a special person she was. Thank God you have the comfort of knowing she is with the Lord & you will see her again. I'm praying for extra grace & comfort as you walk through this painful time.
Love you,
Cathy

Spirits like yours are rare to find, a blessing to know, and a memory to cherish. I will never forget the softness in your voice and the sweetness I saw when you cared for my kids. You raised damn good kids yourself, and they'll both be ok...you taught them well. Make sure show up from time to time to remind them of the things you saw beauty in. My heart breaks for Karie. But I know you gave her every tool she needs to do this from here. May your journey to heaven bring you to all those you love who went before you.
With much love and sadness,
Megan
