Obituary of Cheri Rankey Weber
Please share a memory of Cheri to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Halfmoon - On November 13, 2016 heaven gained another beautiful angel and welcomed Cheri Rankey Weber into their arms. Cheri grew up in Colonie and was the youngest member of the Rankey Family. Her parents Bud and Eileen Rankey cherished their family and gave them a lifetime of loving memories. On May 26, 1982 Cheri married her best friend and soul mate Allan Weber. Al and Cheri went on to have two beautiful daughters Jessica and Emily. Cheri's life with Al and their daughters completed her. They spent many summers in Wildwood Crest at the beach just chilling. Al's love for boating and fishing became Cheri's love also. They would pack up the kids and join Al's entire family where they would spend a week in the Thousand Islands making memories that will last Al and Cheri's daughters a lifetime and confirm just how special the bond of a family can be. Cheri's enjoyment in life also included the bells and whistles and the ultimate win of the slot machines. Cheri and her friends would delight in their trips to the local racinos. And boy did she love the trips where she would hit the "mother load" as Cheri would put it!
Along by her side for this last journey was her Husband Al Weber who cherished everyday with Cheri. She is also survived by her beautiful daughters Jessica and Emily. Cheri was the sister of Claudia (Angelo) Constantino, Buddy (Cheryl) Rankey, Cathy (Bob) Hosgood and her best bud Colleen John. She is also survived by her brother-in-law's, Mike (Lynn) Weber and Steve (Jane) Weber. Cheri has a host of Nieces and Nephews all of who will miss her infectious smile! Throughout her life Cheri made many wonderful friends all who she loved dearly. A very special friendship for Cheri was with her friends JoAnne and Rose who always brought a smile to her face when venturing down "memory lane". Our hearts are sad without our dear Wife, Mom, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and friend but we find comfort in knowing that we have a new Angel named Cheri!
Those wishing to remember Cheri in a special way, may make memorial contributions in her name to, The American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane Latham, NY 12110.
