Obituary of Michael T. Walsh
Michael T. Walsh, 80, of Sycaway, beloved husband of the late Gail Wilkinson Walsh, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by his family in the comfort of his daughters home on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late William and Augusta Clemente Walsh and was a graduate of Power Memorial High School in Manhattan. Mr. Walsh was a U.S. Army veteran having served from 1957 to 1963
Mr. Walsh retired in 1994 from WDF where he had been a Union Plumber for 33 years with Local #2 (currently Local #1) in Queens, LI, NY.
Devoted father of Virginia "Ginger" (Chris) Kehn of Troy, William (Phyllis) Walsh of Hicksville, LI, NY, George Mahieu of Woodbine, GA and Marc (Jeannie) Spring of Queens, NY, cherished grandfather of Michael Walsh, Sara Kehn, Emily Kehn, Lauren Ann Walsh, Goerge "J.R." (Jessica) Mahieu, Jr. and Robert Spring, great grandfather of Michael Mahieu and twins; Madalynn Mahieu and Adalynn Mahieu, brother of Richard (Susan) Walsh, Terrence (Lee) Walsh, Judith Deters, Dolores Walsh, Mary Huban and Lori Cardin, also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Walsh will be laid to rest with military honors on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 12:30 P.M. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12081.
